Grog's Short and Sweet Movie Review Blog

A Place where Grog can come and tell everybody what he thinks about the movies he has just watched. The Criteria for reviewing movies will be as follows: Name of Film, Where or how it was viewed, Review, And rating of some sort. Also don't look for long breathy reviews of movies... these are straight forward opinions of mine of the movie, usually not sugar coated. Also look for the movies link to the Rotten Tomatoes site, some have it, but not all.

The Eye

Another remake of a Japanese horror movie (I really got to get around to seeing the originals). There were some good scares, and some creepy imagery. But I am definitely seeing a trend in Japanese horror movies, there always seems to be a kid who has been killed horribly in some way, and they are out for revenge. I guess ghost kids are pretty creepy, but they get old after a while. This movie is run of the mill and nothing unexpected, make it a rental.
