Review - The first official blockbuster summer movie I have seen this year, and well I am not disappointed. Clocking in at well over 2 hours it was big, it was epic, it was awesome. Wolfgang Petersen has another hit on his hands, can this guy make a bad movie? Lots of people will point to Outbreak as his bad movie, but I still loved it, so tough. Troy was well cast, Brad Pitt was quite good as was Eric Bana, and Brian Cox was kick ass as usual. But what was weird is Orlando Bloom's role was more of a supporting role, and I find this weird because of the kind of star he is becoming... weird. Also worth mentioning is the battle scenes, loved them, once again big and epic and almost worth the price of admission alone.
Rating - If you like them Big and Epic, there is no reason to not see it. Also movies that clock in at over 2 hours, There is usually a point where I would check the time, well I didn't once during this movie, so that should say even more in favor of it.
